About This Role
ibGuru is expanding beyond IB! We are looking for an experienced curriculum leader to spearhead the development of study materials for AP, A-Levels, iGCSE, SAT, TOEFL, IELTS, HSK and other global curricula.
This role is not just about content creation—you will be responsible for recruiting and leading subject editors, ensuring high-quality study resources, and shaping the future of ibGuru’s multi-curriculum platform.
As a key strategic role, you will work closely with the founder to drive ibGuru’s next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Expansion & Strategy•
Design and oversee the development of new curricula (AP, A-Levels, etc.) for ibGuru.

Set content guidelines & quality standards to ensure excellence across all subjects.
Recruit & Manage Subject Editors•
Identify, hire, and lead a team of curriculum-specific content creators & editors.
•
Work with top educators, tutors, and subject experts to ensure high-quality materials.
•
Manage timelines, content workflows, and editorial processes.
Educational Business Development•
Utilize experience in tutoring services, academies, or curriculum management to structure study materials effectively.
•
Adapt content based on student learning patterns & market demands.
Work Closely with the Founder•
Collaborate directly with ibGuru’s founder to execute curriculum expansion plans.
•
Provide insights on market trends, competition, and student needs.
In-Person Leadership in Seoul•
This role requires in-person work in Seoul, ensuring close communication and alignment with the core team.
Who We’re Looking For
Extensive experience in education leadership – Must have held a senior role (e.g., Academy Director, Lead Tutor, Curriculum Manager) in an AP, A-Level, or similar educational program. Strong recruitment & leadership abilities – Ability to build and manage teams of subject editors and educators. Deep curriculum knowledge – Understanding of AP, A-Levels, or other international curricula from both a teaching & content development perspective. Strategic thinker – Able to drive curriculum expansion in line with ibGuru’s growth strategy. Fluent in English (Korean preferred but not required). Compensation & Work Conditions
